Fabled Counseling is the private practice of licensed therapist and practitioner, Shaun Hutto. Shaun is dedicated to helping people feel empowered and be able to author their own stories. His offices in Evergreen and Westminster provide welcoming and comfortable settings. His ability to offer remote telephone based sessions means he can work with clients wherever they are when they need him.
Shaun is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist). Shaun holds a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Post Graduate Certification in Relational Life Therapy and Post Graduate Certification in Multi-Systemic Therapy, and Certifications in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and is a NeuroFeedback Specialist.
Shaun’s services are as diverse as his patients and he treats each person and their story individually. He is proud to offer his services both in person and via telephone or video chat.
Shaun has always had a passion for helping, whether that was in mentoring, advocating or volunteering his time. He has enjoyed his over 20-year-long career in mental health and has experience in various roles including working in youth and adult residential facilities, in-patient treatment centers, out-patient treatment centers, detox centers, and mental health street teams for the mentally ill and those struggling with addiction.
Working as a therapist in community mental health as well as his private practice, Shaun approaches therapy with an open mind and strives to be understanding of all types of people, no matter their gender, cultural, spiritual or sexual identity. He believes that all these aspects are unique and make the person who they are and must be understood and respected.
